Shelving and closet systems in Rocklin, CA
Shelves and closet systems installed level and fastened for the weight they’ll actually hold.
How I approach it
Shelves fail at the fasteners, not the boards. A floating shelf full of books has to go into studs or onto hardware made for that weight. I’ll tell you what a wall can hold before you settle on a layout.
Store-bought closet systems go in well when the top rail is dead level and screwed into studs, because that rail carries everything hanging below it. Get the rail right and the rest is assembly.
Good to know
If you’re buying a closet system, text me a photo of the closet with its measurements first. Changing a plan is easier than returning boxes.

Small repairs welcome
I keep repair and improvement jobs under $1,000—the items that are hard to get on a big contractor’s calendar. Hauling, cleaning and site surveys have no size limit.
