Faucet and toilet repair in Rocklin, CA
Running toilets, dripping faucets and worn fixtures fixed on your existing plumbing, before they waste more water.
How I approach it
A running toilet is almost always a cheap part: a flapper or a fill valve. The trick is knowing which one, and checking that the shutoff valve behind the toilet actually shuts off. In older homes it often doesn’t, and replacing it becomes part of the job.
Faucets work the same way. A drip is a cartridge or a washer. A wobbly faucet is a loose mounting nut under the sink. When a faucet is old enough that parts are hard to find, replacing it is often cheaper than chasing parts.
Good to know
Before I arrive, try the shutoff under the sink or behind the toilet. If it won’t turn, don’t force it. Old valves can snap, and I’ll replace it.
