Furniture assembly in Rocklin, CA
Flat-pack and boxed furniture assembled square and tight, and anchored to the wall when it can tip.
How I approach it
Most assembly calls start with a box that’s been sitting in the garage for a month. The instructions assume two people, a flat floor and a free afternoon. I bring a drill with a clutch set low, because over-tightened screws strip particleboard and cam locks, and stripped holes are how flat-pack furniture ends up wobbling.
Anything tall gets anchored. Dressers and bookcases tip more easily than people expect, especially with kids climbing drawers. The strap kit in the box goes into a stud or a properly rated anchor, not straight into drywall.
Good to know
Put the boxes in the room where the furniture will live. A finished wardrobe doesn’t always fit through a doorway or turn a corner on the stairs.
If a part is missing or damaged, I stop before it’s half-built so you can order the replacement from the manufacturer. I won’t improvise a structural part.

Small repairs welcome
I keep repair and improvement jobs under $1,000—the items that are hard to get on a big contractor’s calendar. Hauling, cleaning and site surveys have no size limit.
